I
use several different massage techniques such as Swedish,
Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Myofascial release, and
Reflexology to promote circulation of blood and lymph,
relaxation of muscles, relief from pain, and other
benefits both physical and mental. I have seen patients
with fibromyalgia, chronic headaches, neck and back
pain, sinus problems, stress, muscle tension, and
other diseases of the body who benefit from massage.
Massage therapy also works hand-in-hand with chiropractic
care to promote wellness, with chiropractic realigning
the spine and retraining the muscles which are pulling
the vertebrae out of alignment.
Prenatal massage is specially designed for women in
their second and third trimesters of pregnancy. (Regular
massage may be received throughout the first trimester.)
My prenatal massage is done side-lying with plenty
of cushions for comfort. The focus of this massage
is on each woman's different pregnancy-related aches
and pains.
I was trained at BMSI
Institute in Overland Park, Kansas.

I
use a combination of Swedish ( or Relaxation), Massage
along with some Trigger Point, Acupressure, Reflexology,
and Deep Tissue to bring pain relief and relaxation
of muscles. There are numerous benefits to massage,
including increased circulation and lowered blood
pressure. I see patients with a wide variety of complaints
including chronic headaches, neck and back pain, sinus
problems, muscle tension, fibromyalgia as well as
just wanting to relax. I also use a good deal of stretching
along with my knowledge of various sports injuries
and complaints to help alleviate specific areas of
pain.
Massage therapy also works hand-in hand with chiropractic
care to promote wellness, with chiropractic realigning
the spine and massage retraining the muscles which
are pulling the vertebrae out of alignment.
I received my Bachelor's of Science Degree in 2003
from Geneva
College in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania. I was certified
in massage Therapy in April of 2005 from Johnson
County Community College and took my National
Certification Test in September of 2005.
